Video: We Are Ellis Island

Behind the support of the Arrow clothing line, Save Ellis Island has created nation-wide buzz and attention to the hugely important role Ellis Island had in the flux of immigrants into the United States with their We Are Ellis Island campaign. Celebrities and average Americans who's lives and families began at Ellis Island have taken part in the campaign.

On DoGooderTV, Save Ellis Island has put together a compilation of their PSA's.

Video: On the Front Lines of Immigration Debate

Dreams Across America is a nationwide journey via train that aims to "educate the public to dispel myths, give real facts, and shares personal stoires about the need for just and human immigration reform in the country." And their online media campaign is terrific model for causes - it uses video stories and blog postings to communicate the lives of real people (no matter where you stand on the issue, the stories are moving). The Tour, which is supported by an impressive list of foundations and nonprofits, concludes Monday in Washington. Here's one of the videos - Tony Wasilewski tells his personal story.
